Updated: June 16, 2019
The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures has officially acquired one of the three iPhone 5Ss and a prototype Moondog Labs Anamorphic Lens that director Sean Baker and cinematographer Radium Cheung used to film the groundbreaking 2015 indie hit Tangerine. The 300,000 square foot museum is set to open on April 30, 2021.
As the opening of the museum draws closer, their digital collection is up on their website. You can find Moondog Labs not only as an individual installation, but also as a director's pick.
